Civic Association Meeting
Our meeting will feature a presentation by WPB Development, Inc. which built the Woodcrest 55+ Rental Community of affordable housing off Route 347 east of Davis Medical Park. They now wish to construct 106 additional Planned Retirement Community (PRC) units in the back of the parcel. Notably, it borders on the woods by the historic Gentleman's Driving Park off Canal, an important resource in our hamlet.
Additionally, we will learn about the new Ronald McDonald House facility planned in Stony Brook. This important effort can provide affordable, and sometimes free housing, meals and support for families with a child hospitalized with a serious illness. Keep families in close proximity to an ailing child is something we can all agree is a valuable way we in our community can help out others in need. Please donate your time, attention and money to this special mission and come join us!
