Civic Association Meeting
We have scheduled a presentation by New Leaf Energy on a 10 Megawatt Lithium-Ion Battery Storage proposal on Route 112 in our Hamlet. There are several of these facilities pending in the Town of Brookhaven. Ostensibly intended to advance Green Energy production for the future, there is a lot of concern and uncertainty surround the safety and appropriateness in siting this use near residential and educational areas. Come down, learn a little about this new technology and have your voice heard!
We are holding our IN-PERSON meeting at the Comsewogue Public Library at 7pm.
